Totals, group subtotals and tier letters are computed from the marks in this table. They are not typed in separately, so the table cannot disagree with itself. Turn a category off with the buttons above and every total, tier and rank recalculates against the remaining criteria. Tiers are graded against the top score. Researched August 2026.

How the Scoring Works

Each product was checked against 41 binary criteria grouped into six categories. A criterion is marked met only when the manufacturer publishes it or it is plainly visible in the product itself. Anything unstated is scored as not met, which is why a few products with vague marketing sit lower than their price suggests.

No criterion is weighted more heavily than another. A product's total is the plain count of criteria it meets, and tiers are graded against the highest score in the field rather than against 41. That keeps the letters honest when no product on the market does everything.

What does it need from the room around it? Door anchor, wall mount, portability, home-gym suitability.

9 criteria

Price & Support

What happens after the money leaves your account? Price tiers, warranty, trial window, programming, rehab positioning, review volume, retail availability.
